1. Batiste Dry Shampoo A Hint Of Colour
2. John Frieda 3-day straight
3. V05 Heat Protect Styling Spray
4. V05 Smoothly Does It
I have the most uncontrollable, high maintenance hair ever! I have been cursed (or blessed depending on the way you look at it) with naturally tight curls so tackling my hair once it’s been washed is a nightmare! I’m constantly complaining about my wild locks, I hate brushing it, washing it, straightening it, you name it, if it’s to do with my hair then I hate it!
I’m a massive fan of the genius behind the idea of dry shampoo. Working two jobs can be quite hectic, especially going straight from one to the other and not getting home until midnight, so dry shampoo is my life saver. I have a habit of touching my fringe so a quick spray to keep it looking fresh in between washes is ideal. I have been waiting for a red tinted one to come out for aages! Especially after I saw the blonde and brown ones (us red heads ALWAYS get left out), so needless to say, I was extremely excited when my lovely bff Sophie (@sophieeboon) informed me Batiste had released one.
I purchased this on Saturday (I went in to Superdrug for shampoo and Batiste and ended up spending £40! It’s so easy to do!) I’ve used it this week, and I’m not too fussed on the colour. I never expected it to be the perfect match for my hair, but I think it’s more suitable for people with dyed red hair as opposed to au natural. It’s still subtle enough once it’s been brushed through, and I will continue to use it, but I shall probably be sticking to my regular, no colour sprays from now on! I find the coloured ones don’t a very nice scent, the regular cherry one is my favourite at the moment.
I’m yet to dry the 3 day straight as I need to wash my hair, blow dry it and straighten it, and I’m so exhausted from starting my new job this week! It’s only been my second day as well!
